Setting a warranty expiration date

For an item to appear in your warranty calendar (and to track warranties in general), give it a Warranty Expiration date.

How to set it

1. Open the item on iPhone or the web.
2. Edit the item and find the Warranty Expiration field.
3. Choose the date the manufacturer warranty ends.
4. Save.

Once set, the item automatically appears in your warranty calendar feed with a reminder 30 days ahead. Clear the date and it drops off the calendar.

Tip: Add the warranty date when you first log an appliance or electronics purchase — and attach the receipt and warranty document while you're there.
