Safety recalls

Minvy checks your inventory against official recall databases and alerts you if something you own has been recalled.

What it checks

• CPSC — consumer product recalls (appliances, furniture, kids' gear, and more).
• NHTSA — vehicle recalls. Minvy re-checks daily, so new recalls are caught automatically.

Where to see recalls Open Safety recalls in the web app sidebar. Each alert shows the item, the hazard, what to do, and a link to the official recall notice. A badge shows how confident the match is — Confirmed, Likely, or Possible.

Dismissing an alert If an alert doesn't apply, click Dismiss to clear it.

Tip: The more detail your items have — brand, model, and especially a vehicle's VIN — the better Minvy can match them to recalls.
