Receipts: import from Gmail

Connect Gmail to search for receipt emails and attach PDFs to items. Premium feature.

Gmail receipt import is a Premium feature. It lets Minvy search your Gmail inbox for receipt and invoice emails and attach the PDF attachments directly to items in your inventory.

How to connect Gmail

  1. In the Minvy web app, go to Settings > Connected Accounts.
  2. Click Connect Google Account.
  3. Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permission (read-only access to search Gmail for receipts).

Importing a receipt

  1. Open an item you want to attach a receipt to.
  2. Click Add Receipt > Import from Gmail.
  3. Minvy searches your inbox for receipt and invoice emails. Results appear in a list.
  4. Select the email and choose the PDF attachment to import.
  5. The receipt is attached to the item.

Privacy note Minvy only uses the permission to search for receipt-related emails. It does not read, store, or transmit any other email content.
