Labels: what they are and how to use them
Tag items with labels to add meaning beyond their category.
Labels are flexible tags you can apply to any item. Unlike categories, an item can have multiple labels at once. Use them to cut across rooms — for example, to see all items tagged 'Insurance' regardless of which room they're in.
Example labels
- Insurance — items you want to flag for your insurance policy
- High Value — expensive or irreplaceable items
- Sell — things you're planning to list or donate
- Warranty — items still under manufacturer warranty
- Moving — things to pack first or handle carefully
How to add or remove a label
- Open an item.
- Tap Labels.
- Select or deselect labels, or create a new one.
- Tap Save.
Labels are viewable and editable on both iPhone and the web (Premium).
