Getting started with Minvy
A quick guide to how Minvy helps you organize, label, and track your items.
Minvy is a home inventory app that lets you catalog items by room or collection, attach photos and documents, and retrieve anything instantly using search, QR codes, or NFC tags.
Minvy has two tiers:
- Core (free) — add items, organize by category, scan barcodes, use QR codes and NFC tags, and sync via iCloud across your own devices.
- Premium — everything in Core, plus the Minvy web app, cross-device sync, Gmail receipt import, AI-powered features, and AI credits.
Quick start
- Create your Property (home, office, storage unit, etc.).
- Add Categories (rooms or collections such as Kitchen, Garage, or Living Room).
- Add your first item — take a photo, scan a barcode, or enter details manually.
- Optionally assign items to a QR code or NFC tag for instant lookup.
Tip: Start with 3–6 categories. You can always add more later.
