Download a documentation pack of your inventory
One ZIP with a PDF report, a spreadsheet, your photos and receipts — to keep, or to share with your insurer, adjuster or accountant.
The documentation pack puts everything you've recorded for a property into one ZIP file. You can keep it as a backup of your records, or share it with whoever needs it, such as your insurer, an adjuster or your accountant.
How to create one (web)
- Open Property statement in the sidebar.
- Remove any items you don't want in the pack. This only changes the report, never your inventory.
- Click Documentation pack.
- Choose whether to include photos, receipts and documents, and your notes.
- Optionally add a policy number, insurer and reason for the report to the cover page. These go on the cover and are not saved anywhere.
- Click Create pack. The ZIP is built in your browser and downloads when it's ready.
What's in the ZIP
- Inventory_Report.pdf: a cover page, a summary by room or category, a page entry for each item with up to four photos, and your receipt images.
- Inventory.xlsx and Inventory.csv: one row per item, ready for Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
- photos and receipts folders: every photo and document, named by the item's number (for example 012_1.jpg).
- manifest.json: a list of every file with its SHA-256 fingerprint. If a file is ever changed, its fingerprint no longer matches.
Good to know
- Item numbers match the # column on the Property statement, so #012 is the same item everywhere.
- Values are the ones you entered. Minvy doesn't estimate, verify or appraise what anything is worth, and the pack never includes AI estimates.
- Photos are the copies stored in Minvy, which may be smaller than the originals on your phone or camera.
- Minvy isn't affiliated with any insurer. What's covered and how a claim is settled is up to your insurer and your policy.
- A large inventory with many photos can take a few minutes to build. Keep the tab open until it downloads.
