AI credits: what they are and how they work

AI credits are the currency for Minvy's AI-powered features. Each time you use an AI feature, a small number of credits is deducted from your balance. Credits are separate from your Premium subscription — the subscription unlocks the AI features; credits power each use.

Your welcome credits New Premium subscribers receive 300 welcome credits automatically. These are added to your account as soon as your subscription activates.

What costs credits

• Auto-filling item details from a photo — approximately 1 credit per photo
• Detect & review (finding multiple items in one scene photo) — approximately 3 credits per scene
• Video item detection — approximately 3 credits per analyzed frame

Checking your balance Your credit balance is shown in Settings — the AI credits row on iPhone, and your plan section on the web.

Buying more credits Tap Buy more credits next to your balance (iPhone) or use Settings on the web .

Tip: On-device features like barcode scanning and standard OCR use no AI credits — credits are only consumed by cloud AI operations.
