Adding an item with the camera

The fastest way to add an item is to photograph it directly in Minvy. Minvy can also analyze your photo in the cloud and suggest details automatically.

How to add an item using the camera

1. Navigate to the category where you want to add the item.
2. Tap the + button.
3. Tap Camera to take a new photo, or Photo Library to use an existing one.
4. Fill in any fields you like — cost, value, notes — then tap Save.
5. If photo recognition finds suggestions for your item, they arrive in your Inbox shortly after — review and accept or dismiss them there.

Tip: You can add multiple photos to a single item by tapping the + photo button on the item detail screen.
